Very nice except for the bugs lol
Nice to visit during spring and fall. Bugs are bad in the summer and too windy in the winter. Kayaking opportunities abound at Turkey Point but this region is all marsh, so don't expend much shade except on the hiking trails. The northern Bear Swamp section is exceptionally different and has abundant forest with songbirds in springtime.
Great place for family crabbing and to enjoy the outdoors.
If you can deal with the bugs, a great place to experience South Jersey wildlife.
